The Story

Eddie wasn't your usual rodent.
The year beeing 2041 things have taken to the
worse for labrats.
Due to the large achievments by animal rights
activists things hade changed severely during
the last 30 years. Almost all tests performed
using lab animals had been outlawed leading to
a brief period in history were if you could
(which eddie could) you would have heard a
sigh of relief from rodents around the world.
However mans obsession to achieve the perfect
virtual reality environment left a slight
loophole in the regulations, allowing tests
concerning virtual reality and electronic
stimuli to be performed on animals.

Beeing one the oldest rodents still alive from these
experiments, Eddie had seen his fellow rodents
brains fry, duplicated and there images warped
into ghosts and monsters by the machines they
had been connected to. The feeling of living
a life of constant russian roulette with the
experiments was nothing compared to the fear
he felt when jacked in to the RIIS
Rodent Intelligence Improvement System.
A system specifically created to press the limits
of the lab animals, he had even heard rumours
of animals beeing matched against human opponents
if they excelled to much in this game.
What Eddie doesn't know is that today it's
his turn to run the RIIS again....
